Wow the definition is AMAZING! We should strip everything!We also found that the inner area has a lot of detail and it is made of some type of stone/plaster/concrete. We like it so we are going to find out how to seal it instead of painting over it.

ReplyDeleteMy husband and I are hoping to finally paint our living room...before Thanksgiving! Yikes! He LOVES gray and wanted our bedroom gray but it turned out after 3 colors to be a blue gray. I like it, he doesn't so much. So I really want to find a gray he will like. Your former room colors are exactly like ours! We bought the house I grew up in and my dad painted the fireplace and trim a similar yellow. i would love for easiness sake to find a gray to match but I doubt that will happen!

Would you be able to offer any help? I see you have a few grays in your house.
